The Role of a Commercial Officer.

We are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to join our team as a Commercial Officer. In this role, you will be responsible for providing informed advice and support to stakeholders on matters related to export control and commercial activities.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about governance and compliance. As the Commercial Officer, you will work closely with members of our team to manage US export control agreements and licenses, and ensure that all relevant regulations are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Australian F-35 Agreements Register
  • Coordinate Subject Matter Expert reviews
  • Conduct policy reviews and provide feedback
  • Assist in the control of access to electronic files library and F-35 Program information

Requirements:

  • Understanding of US export control regulations and compliance requirements
  • Sound commercial experience in procurement and contracting
  • Ability to develop complex export controls strategies and management systems
  • Exhibited commercial acumen and knowledge of legislation, policies, and export controls
  • Familiarity with driving innovation and continuous improvement of processes
