The Opportunity

Ventia is seeking an experienced Field Operations Manager to join our team in the role of Supervisor for our Homes NSW contract. This position involves leading a team in the coordination, compliance and supervision of all field work conducted in their designated area of responsibility – Bankstown and surrounding suburbs.

This challenging yet rewarding role requires someone with experience in similar roles or perhaps a junior project manager with a trade background. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient delivery of maintenance services to a portfolio of properties that provide safety, belonging and privacy to residents.

Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per annum + company vehicle

Job Description:

  • Manage and coordinate work programs to ensure timely and efficient delivery of maintenance services
  • Deliver weekly updates to the Senior Supervisor, works manager and Contracts Manager, and other reporting requirements as required
  • Monitor and manage Safety KPI inspection targets
  • Oversee Quality notices review and close out
  • Manage EOTs and variations

Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license (C) class
  • Trade certification in carpentry, plumbing or electrical
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
  • Experience in public housing or facilities maintenance management highly regarded
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Excellent time management and communication skills essential
