Our organization is seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of a Groups and Product Specialist. This position will be based in Sydney, Australia, and will oversee the sales department for groups as well as product operations for the Australian and New Zealand market.

This key leadership role within the Contact Centre, Groups and Operations Department will focus on overseeing the retention, growth and development of the group bookings business and product operations. As Group Sales and Product Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end groups program, product rollout, and promotion setup for the Australia & New Zealand market while providing personalized customer service experiences to group bookings B2B and B2C groups.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional team management experience, across various tenures and skills. They will also have strong data analytics and financial literacy skills, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and sales results. Additionally, they must be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and possess strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate at multiple levels of the organisation.

Responsibilities of this role include:

  • Ownership of Group Sales Program and Implementation
  • Developing and implementing groups policies and processes to achieve commercial and customer service KPIs
  • Ensuring timely response to enquiries, accurate issue of group sales quotes, internal briefs, and group contracts
  • Providing leadership and strategic direction on Groups program and operations aligning with a broader business plan
  • Identifying new market opportunities to develop business through product development and new distribution channels
