Civil Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our team in Darwin. As a key member of our Community Development team, you will have the opportunity to work on a range of civil design projects related to land, urban and subdivisions.

This is an excellent career pathway for an experienced Civil Engineer looking to grow their technical and leadership capabilities in a global engineering consultancy.

Our approach to community development consulting covers master planned communities, mixed-use developments, parks, recreation facilities, and streetscapes. We activate urban downtowns, suburban centers, small towns, and rural areas—and the multimodal corridors that connect us to the places we work, live, and thrive.

This role includes project design and delivery across a range of projects and sectors. Projects may involve early concept design and master planning through to detailed design and construction documentation. The role will require independent design, project delivery and stakeholder management.

The ideal candidate will have Australian experience, a strong technical design background, and good consulting engineering and project delivery skills over a range of projects.

• Civil design mainly relating to urban, land, buildings civil and subdivisions
• Construction phase support, design review, stakeholder management, liaison with authorities, reporting, contract administration and quality audits.
• Liaising with engineers, designers, and drafters
• Adhering to professional standards, ethics and quality procedures.
• Managing clients and other consultants.
• Assist with project management and business development.
• Support Project Leaders Managers in completing projects in terms of program, profitability, technical risk management and overall Client satisfaction.

To be successful for this role you'll need:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
• Demonstrated experience in the civil engineering related to design and delivery of urban, land and subdivisions
• Knowledge of applicable standards, codes and state requirements
• Obtain CP Eng and NT Registration as soon as eligible
• Eligible to obtain Defence baseline security clearance
