About the Role

As a Principal Citrix Architect at Capgemini, you will have the opportunity to lead the design and implementation of desktop virtualization initiatives that drive business growth and innovation.

Job Summary
  • Maintain and support multiple Citrix environments to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Lead an offshore 3rd party team to deliver services in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLA) and resolve incidents in a timely manner.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic roadmap for desktop virtualization initiatives, utilizing your extensive Citrix and Azure experience to achieve optimal results.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Citrix Environment Management: Maintain and support multiple Citrix environments, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  2. Leadership and Team Management: Lead an offshore 3rd party team, delivering services in accordance with SLA and resolving incidents in a timely manner.
  3. Roadmap Development: Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for desktop virtualization initiatives, leveraging your Citrix and Azure expertise.
  4. High-Performance Teams: Lead and mentor high-performing teams across onshore and offshore locations, driving excellence in service delivery.
  5. Legacy Environment Consolidation: Manage the consolidation of multiple legacy virtualization environments into a streamlined infrastructure.
  6. Migration Expertise: Drive the migration process to AVD and/or Windows 365, ensuring seamless transitions.
  7. Culture of Continuous Learning: Promote a culture of continuous learning and self-improvement within the team.
About You

We are seeking an experienced Citrix professional with a strong background in designing and implementing desktop virtualization solutions. The ideal candidate will have:

  • 10+ years of experience with Citrix, including deployment and management on Azure.
  • 3+ years of experience leading AVD and W365 deployments.
  • Significant experience in End User Compute environments, including Windows 10 & 11 deployment/image creation.
  • Experience as a technical lead on desktop virtualization initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability in strategic roadmap development and execution.
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing teams in a split onshore/offshore model.
  • Proven track record of consolidating legacy environments and migrating to modern virtualization platforms.
  • Solid understanding of core Azure networking and PaaS Services.
  • Excellent written communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
