About This Position

As a Staff Security Engineer, you will create and maintain a secure operating environment for users and developers. You will be responsible for protecting network boundaries, hardening computer systems and network devices against attacks, and providing security services to protect sensitive data.


Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with individual contributors, technical leads, managers, partner teams, and executive leadership to prioritize security engineering efforts.
  • Contribute to design and policy decisions, drive information security risk discussions and escalations.
  • Lead and mentor Security Engineers and other engineers across the organization.
  • Design infrastructure and lead its implementation to safeguard Google networks and systems.
  • Develop enterprise-focused security improvements to products and services.
