Cyber Threat Mitigation Specialist

We're seeking a skilled cybersecurity professional to join our Threat Incident Response team in Sydney.
This dynamic role involves detecting, identifying, and mitigating advanced cyber threats and risks within our global environment.
Our 24/7 defense strategy requires allocated shifts on Saturdays and Sundays in-region, with support from senior analysts on call during these periods.
You'll collaborate with a diverse group of professionals to drive innovation and achieve shared goals in a friendly and supportive team culture.
Your Key Responsibilities:- Triage and respond to sophisticated cyber threats targeting our global infrastructure and businesses.
- Analyze attack trends facing the organization and industry to inform proactive defensive measures.
- At least one year of related security experience or applicable degree/certification.
- Experience in analyzing aggregate log data (Splunk or similar platforms).
- Offensive security knowledge and familiarity with threat actor tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
