About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team at Delta Group, a leading diversified contractor. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in producing detailed submissions for clients, including cost estimates, programs, and procurement documentation for large-scale commercial and industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and compile detailed bids/quotes for demolition and civil works projects throughout South Australia.
  • Manage due dates and deliverables autonomously, ensuring timely completion of projects.
  • Collaborate with industry experts to implement innovative and cost-effective solutions for upcoming projects.
  • Effectively manage key supplier and stakeholder relationships, including maintaining an up-to-date register of market rates and costs.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, providing upper and lower cost bounds to inform senior management's decision-making process.
  • Develop specifications, source, negotiate, and implement contracts with equipment, materials, and service providers.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the demolition and construction industry, with a focus on demolition and civil works.
  • Experience in project estimation and new business development.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Project).
  • Ability to work collaboratively with experienced team members in an office-based setting.
