Home Care Professional

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Employee to join our team.

The Role

As a Home Care Professional, you will be responsible for assisting service recipients with basic household tasks, including bed making, cleaning, dishwashing, laundry, hanging clothes out to dry, ironing, meal preparation, and unaccompanied shopping.

You will work independently and as part of a team to ensure that service recipients' houses are maintained in a clean, hygienic, and welcoming manner, according to their needs and preferences.

About You

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Access to a personally owned, thoroughly maintained, and insured car
  • Australian Driver's License, current and unrestricted
  • Good organisational skills
  • Competent computer skills to use a smartphone/tablet or willingness to learn
  • Ability to perform basic manual handling such as lifting, carrying, standing, and prolonged sitting in a safe manner
