At Southern Cross Care, we strive to empower older people to live life to the full. Our Home Care services are designed to support individuals in their own homes, promoting independence and safety.

We are currently recruiting for two positions in Tweed Heads, servicing clients in and around this area.

Your role will involve providing individualised care tailored to each client's needs, including:

  • Meal assistance, including shopping and meal preparation
  • Transport and accompaniment, including shopping trips and appointments
  • Social support & activities, including outings and social activities
  • Domestic assistance, light household cleaning

You will be required to work flexible hours, with a variety of shifts available Monday to Friday, and occasional weekends by arrangement.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A compassionate and supportive nature, listening to the individual needs of our clients
  • No qualification required for Domestic Assistance, however experience in Aged, Disability and or Hospitality/Cleaning is preferred
  • Support to obtain Certificate III
  • Certificate III in Aged Care / Disability Support or related field for servicing personal care clients
  • Current driver's license and car with full comprehensive insurance
  • Time management skills
  • Reliable and trustworthy, our clients are dependent on you
