Job Description

Delivering Timber Freight with Safety and Efficiency

We are seeking experienced HC licenced drivers to join our team based in Oberon NSW. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering timber products between Oberon, Sydney, and Newcastle locations.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong attitude towards safety and customer satisfaction, with experience delivering timber freight intrastate. They will also have a history of safe work practices and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver timber freight between designated locations
  • Conduct daily prestart checks, including refuelling and maintaining truck interior
  • Ensure loads are restrained appropriately
  • Communicate effectively with other drivers, supervisors, and customers as needed
  • Comply with Linfox's coupling and uncoupling procedures
Requirements
  • Open HC/MC licence and relevant experience
  • Experience delivering timber freight intrastate
  • Strong attitude towards safety and customer satisfaction
  • History of safe work practices and excellent communication skills
