Competency-Based Haul Truck Traineeship

We are seeking an Indigenous trainee to join our team as a Haul Truck Operator.

About the Role:
  • This competency-based traineeship leads to a nationally recognised qualification, Certificate III - Surface Extraction Operations.
  • You will gain hands-on experience in an on-the-job environment for Thiess Mt Arthur Coal.
  • A dedicated mentor will support and guide you through the process.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Safe and productive work ethic.
  • Hold a current Car P2 drivers' licence or higher.
  • Be able to work a rotating roster including nights and weekends.
  • Provide 2 recent work referees.
  • Be able to provide a local residential address.
  • Be available to attend required interviews throughout the recruitment process.
  • Able to undergo and pass full Order 43 Coal Services Health medical and D&A Test.
Benefits Package:

Excellent Flat Pay Rates: $45-$47 per hour.

Superannuation: Paid on all rostered hours.

Career Opportunities: Permanent opportunities may be available after traineeship successfully completed.
