The Sunrise Project is a leading charity conducting vital clinical trial research, testing treatments for gastro-intestinal cancer.
Job Summary: Operations ManagerWe are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join our team and drive operational excellence.
Main Responsibilities:- Plan and oversee annual events calendar.
- Support Board and committee meetings.
- Manage Annual Scientific Meeting in collaboration with CEO, Events Coordinator, Communications Team and external Professional Conference Organiser.
- Manage IT providers relationship and ensure cyber security measures and governance of IT activity is in place.
- Develop or refine organisational processes and monitoring of activities as required.
- Manage annual review of organisational policies, procedures and Terms of Reference.
- Oversee membership database and ensure records are updated and accurate.
- Lead and manage Administration Coordinator and Events Coordinator.
- Previous experience in a similar role, including experience managing a small team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability and confidence to liaise with staff and stakeholders of all levels.
- Strong attention to detail, highly organised with initiative and flexible approach to work.
- Able to work in a small office with experience in not-for-profit sector highly desirable.
