Job Overview:

GreenCollar is a leading developer and investor of ecosystem services projects, spanning over 200 initiatives across 5 million hectares of active conservation. The company has a growing international portfolio targeting nature-based solutions in carbon abatement, biodiversity conservation, water security, and plastics circularity.

The Role:
  • Lead the investigation, understanding, and communication of environmental regeneration project performance.
  • Work closely with peers to investigate project performance and opportunities, as well as with stakeholders to understand, report on, and communicate project performance.
Responsibilities:
  1. Analyze project data from multiple sources using statistical and analytical techniques to evaluate project performance.
  2. Monitor ongoing project events, activities, and performance proactively.
  3. Create and validate project forecasts.
  4. Manage project and portfolio reporting schedules, sequences, and requirements.
  5. Prepare comprehensive project reports, visualizations, presentations, and responses to communicate performance and guidance to stakeholders.
  6. Identify and communicate opportunities or imperatives to improve project performance and outcomes.
  7. Ensure timely and efficient response and resolution of triggered monitoring events.
  8. Recommend or provide guidance on project and portfolio priorities and activities.
  9. Understand environmental markets methods and methodologies, focusing on carbon methods such as Avoided Deforestation, Avoided Clearing, Human Induced Regeneration, Native Forest from Managed Regrowth, and others.
  10. Understand each project's adherence to its method (activities; outcomes).
  11. Understand how data tools process available information.
  12. Investigate and pursue opportunities to improve the quality, scalability, efficiency, and standardization of project analysis and reporting.
  13. Integrate core monitoring and analysis activities into project lifecycle management with Portfolio and Community of Practice peers.
  14. Lead site visits for measurement, monitoring, audit, or stakeholder relationship purposes.
Requirements:
  • Experience in analyzing project data and evaluating project performance.
  • Strong understanding of environmental markets methods and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams.
  • High level of technical expertise in data analysis and visualization.
  • Knowledge of project management principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard software and tools.
