Quality and Risk Management Professional

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership skills and experience in managing quality and risk programs. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading teams to achieve quality improvement goals, and possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

The purpose of this role is to support the Clinical Governance Department in achieving its objectives by fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement. This includes overseeing the clinical incident management systems and consumer feedback program, working closely with the Quality and Risk Manager to lead the Hospital National Safety and Quality Health Services Standards accreditation program.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Current registration with APHRA
  • Demonstrated ability to lead the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards accreditation program
  • Demonstrated ability to use quality improvement systems and achieve positive outcomes
  • Knowledge and understanding of contemporary clinical risk management strategies
  • Experience in facilitating change and adopting new concepts
  • Sound computer skills using Microsoft Office and web-based systems
  • Understanding of clinical governance principles
  • Experience in leading and motivating teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

About the Role:

This is a permanent full-time opportunity that reports to the Quality and Risk Manager. You will work closely with the Quality and Risk Manager and other team members to achieve the objectives of the Clinical Governance Department.

Requirements:

  • Must provide a current National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
  • Depending on the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases
