Job Summary
The Clinical Lead Physiotherapist will work across the in-patient subacute ward and Residential Aged Care Facilities, providing leadership and support to the multidisciplinary team. They will be responsible for managing a full clinical caseload, providing supervision and training to undergraduate physiotherapy students, and contributing to the development of the Subacute Physiotherapy service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a full clinical caseload in the designated area, prioritizing patient care and outcomes.
- Provide leadership and support to the multidisciplinary team, promoting a culture of collaboration and excellence.
- Supervise and train undergraduate physiotherapy students, ensuring they meet the required standards and competencies.
- Work collaboratively with the In-patient Grade 3 physiotherapist on projects, continuous improvement, staff training, and research initiatives.
- Contribute to the development of the Subacute Physiotherapy service, identifying areas for improvement and implementing evidence-based practices.
- Continuously update their knowledge and skills in Rehabilitation and GEM through internal and external professional development opportunities.
