Job Title: Executive Leader - Campus Development

Job Summary:

Melbourne City Mission is seeking an experienced and dynamic Executive Leader to join our team as the Head of Campus for our Hester Hornbrook Academy. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our campus strategy, ensuring the delivery of high-quality education and support services to our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of the campus strategy, ensuring alignment with the organization's overall goals and objectives.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the campus, including staff management, student support, and facilities management.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including parents, community groups, and government agencies.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality education and support services to students, including academic, social, and emotional support.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Leadership Team to develop and implement organizational strategies and initiatives.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to staff, including coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies, including child safety and wellbeing.
  • Perform other duties as required by the Executive Leadership Team.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably in education or a related field.
  • Strong strategic thinking and planning skills, with the ability to develop and implement complex plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a focus on achieving shared goals and objectives.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to coach, mentor, and develop staff.
  • Ability to ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
