Responsibilities
Design and develop large-scale distributed systems with incredible scale and performance processing massive amounts of data.
Identify opportunities and drive the design and implementation of end-to-end telemetry, alerting, self-healing, and automation capabilities to improve service health, manageability, and reliability.
Hold accountability as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI), mentoring engineers across products/solutions, working on-call to monitor system for degradation, downtime, or interruptions and initiate actions to restore system.
Mentor other engineers on the team on coding and design best practices.
Requirements
A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline, AND 4+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, Rust, C# OR equivalent experience.
1+ years of experience building scalable distributed systems utilizing micro-services.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 5+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, Rust, C# OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, Rust, C# OR equivalent experience.
2+ years experience with distributed systems or microservice architecture.
1+ years experience of building and shipping large scale cloud services.
3+ years in design, architecture and development skills.
Experience with large scale and distributed system automation/execution frameworks.
