Job Title: Medical Administrator

We are seeking an experienced and highly organised individual to provide administrative support for the medical workforce at Queensland Health.

About the Role:

This position is responsible for coordinating and delivering effective administrative services, including recruitment, appointment, registration, and payroll for all medical staff. The successful applicant will be able to work independently, with minimal supervision, in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality administrative support for the medical workforce
  • Coordinate and deliver administrative services, including recruitment, appointment, registration, and payroll
  • Meet deadlines and achieve results in a high-volume work environment
  • Communicate effectively with clients and staff in both oral and written forms
Requirements:
  • Bachelor degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of contemporary human resource management issues, including workplace health and safety, equal opportunity, and anti-discrimination
  • Able to acquire knowledge of legislation, procedures, policies, and regulations pertaining to the recruitment of senior/resident medical officers, including medical registration and immigration
About You:
  • You must have excellent organisational skills and be able to prioritise tasks effectively
  • You must be able to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms with a wide range of clients and staff
