Software Tester Position

Our organization is seeking an experienced Software Tester to lead the development of our testing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement automation frameworks for backend and UI testing, ensuring high quality and efficiency.
  • Conduct thorough security testing and maintain compliance with industry standards, identifying vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with developers to enhance web services and internal tools, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Lead and mentor QA engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure their success and growth within the team.
  • Participate in project management activities, contributing to planning and delivery efforts that drive business results.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • At least 7 years of professional experience in QA/testing, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Expertise in programming languages such as Ruby, TypeScript, Java, Kotlin, and Python, as well as familiarity with test automation frameworks like Selenium and Cucumber.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain complex test automation frameworks, leveraging skills in version control systems and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience in conducting thorough security testing, including knowledge of databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, with the ability to apply this knowledge in real-world scenarios.
  • Recognized cybersecurity certification, such as CEH or CompTIA Security+, demonstrating expertise in security testing and risk assessment.
  • Hands-on experience with large-scale enterprise environments, including knowledge of banking systems, fraud detection platforms, and cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Strong leadership skills, including team coordination, recruitment, and mentoring, with a proven track record of success in these areas.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with statistical analysis or fraud detection systems, highlighting additional skills and capabilities.
  • Development of Chrome extensions or similar tools for QA automation, showcasing creativity and resourcefulness.
  • Exposure to both financial services and product-based companies, indicating adaptability and flexibility in different work environments.
