Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced finance professional to lead our financial team and drive business growth.

The ideal candidate will have a strong leadership presence, excellent communication skills, and a passion for improving processes and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support a small finance team, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement
  • Ensure accurate management of revenue invoicing, general journal entries, and intercompany transactions
  • Deliver timely monthly financial closures and provide Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet reports
  • Manage reconciliations with precision, covering fixed assets to intercompany loans
  • Oversee compliance matters including BAS lodgement, payroll, superannuation, and audit support
  • Strengthen internal controls and contribute to process and system enhancements
  • Build strong relationships with offshore teams, suppliers, auditors, and tax consultants

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • CPA or CA qualification highly desirable but not essential
  • Degree-qualified in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
  • 3+ years' experience in a similar finance role, or 5+ years' proven industry experience
  • Strong communicator with excellent stakeholder engagement skills
  • Advanced time management, autonomy, and attention to detail
  • Solid working knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs a must)
  • Confident working across reporting systems and able to adapt to evolving technology
  • Able to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and maintain composure under pressure
