Electrical Design Expertise

We are seeking skilled Electrical Design Engineers to join our team.

Job Description:

As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for the conceptual, preliminary and final detailed design of new, upgraded and expanded substations. This will involve material procurement, construction and commissioning/startup support through energization. You will also be involved in the development and delivery of physical, electrical, civil and communication design studies, calculations, drawings, exhibits and specifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical systems for substations
  • Collaborate with project engineers and other team members to deliver high-quality projects
  • Develop and maintain design documentation and standards
  • Participate in quality control and assurance processes
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor of Science or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Experience in electrical design and engineering
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organization and planning skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Commitment to quality and accuracy
  • Fundamental knowledge of power engineering principles and applicable codes and standards
