About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Operations Engineer to join our team and contribute to the success of our cloud-based projects. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement secure and efficient cloud infrastructure architectures
  • Maintain and improve existing cloud infrastructure systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems
  • Develop and implement automated testing and deployment processes
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud operations, including experience with Azure public cloud workloads
  • Deep understanding of Microsoft technology stack, including on-premises, Azure services, and directory & identity services at scale
  • Demonstrated experience with contemporary development principles and tooling: 'everything as code', version-controlled change, continuous delivery, and automated testing
  • Demonstrated skills in PowerShell, Azure Resource Manager, Azure Automation, Active Directory, and/or Azure Active Directory
  • Demonstrated skill in DevOps and Continuous Delivery, as well as source control, deployment pipelines modularity, and abstraction
  • Experience authoring and modifying clean self-documenting code using an Infrastructure as Code (IaC) platform such as Terraform
  • Ideally, possess certifications in ITIL or Agile and experience in a commercial environment
  • Relevant recognised specialist industry certification such as Azure Associate or Expert
