We are seeking a passionate and experienced Speech Pathologist to join our team at Yooralla, a leading disability service provider in Victoria. As a Speech Pathologist, you will work with adults with a disability to provide best practice, evidence-based speech pathology services to help them achieve their goals and live the life they choose.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver therapy in people's homes, educational settings, or in the community to support clients to achieve their goals
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address communication skills and/or mealtime safety and promote overall health and wellbeing
- Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, and Psychologists to provide comprehensive support to clients
- Provide indirect client service/family coordination to support client goals
- Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology or a relevant discipline
- Experience working within a transdisciplinary/multidisciplinary team model
- Ability to build positive relationships with clients and their families
- Willingness to improve on your clinical practice and develop clinical skills in areas you're not familiar with
- Competency in a variety of IT platforms, particularly client management systems
- Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Australian driver's license and own vehicle, and a willingness to travel the Southern region of Melbourne as required
