Restaurant Operations Manager

11 Recruitment is seeking a skilled Restaurant Manager to lead our client's cafe in Annandale NSW. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant operations and management, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage daily restaurant operations to ensure efficient service delivery and high-quality food standards.
- Develop and implement seasonal promotions and special functions to drive sales and customer engagement.
- Collaborate with chefs to plan menus and special dishes, ensuring alignment with customer preferences and market trends.
- Monitor and improve quality of service, food quality, and customer satisfaction through regular feedback and coaching.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.
- Resolve customer complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Work closely with the Director to set sales forecasts and review expenditures, ensuring budgetary compliance.
- Organize and manage staff rosters, recruitment, training, and supervision to ensure a high-performing team.
- Control stock levels, negotiate prices, and maintain accurate purchasing and payment records.
- Implement effective cash handling and retail banking systems, reviewing and updating processes as needed.
- Take reservations and ensure seamless customer experience.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Train and develop apprentices and other staff members.
- Oversee cafe and FOH staff operations, ensuring high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
- Relevant qualification and minimum 2 years' experience in restaurant management.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to lead and manage a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work on weekends and adapt to changing circumstances.
The role offers a competitive remuneration package ranging from $70,000 to $80,000, plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
