About the Role

We are seeking a skilled trade professional to join our team as a Roofing Tradesperson. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting roofs for leaks and damage, applying membranes to prevent water penetrations, repairing and replacing flashings, box gutters, and fixings to prevent leaks, cleaning roofs for leak prevention, ensuring safety requirements are always met, procuring and preparing materials as needed, assisting clients with concerns and queries professionally, and maintaining a clean and tidy work site.

Responsibilities:
  • Inspect roofs for leaks and damage
  • Apply membranes to prevent water penetrations
  • Repair and replace flashings, box gutters, and fixings to prevent leaks
  • Clean roofs for leak prevention
  • Ensure safety requirements are always met
  • Procure and prepare materials as needed
  • Assist clients with concerns and queries professionally
  • Maintain a clean and tidy work site
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Drivers licence and own car - work vehicles can also be available
  • White Card
  • Working at heights ticket (or willing to obtain)
  • Comfortable working on roofs/at heights
  • Clear pre-employment national police check and medical, drug and alcohol test
  • Positive, can-do attitude and teamwork
  • Trades experience - roofing and roof plumbing preferred, and reflective in rate of pay
