Recreation Manager

The Senior Recreation Facilities Officer role is an exciting opportunity to join the Active Communities and Assets team.
This position involves managing the day-to-day operations of Council's major recreation and aquatic facilities, ensuring high-level service and support is provided to centre operators.
- Act as a liaison between internal stakeholders and external users to achieve project objectives and outcomes
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and engagement
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance service delivery and performance metrics
- Provide high-level administrative support to the team
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent collaboration and engagement abilities, and strong report writing and briefing skills.

Key Responsibilities:- Manage the occupancy and service agreements for externally managed sport and recreation facilities
- Represent or delegate representation at relevant committees, meetings, and workshops
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and manage workload to meet project objectives within approved timeframes.
