Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the Tableau reporting platform, ensuring that dashboards are current and reporting metrics from various data sources are consistent and accurate.
  • Guide junior data analysts and disseminate best practices for data structure, dashboard design, and configuration.
  • Act as the primary point of contact in the data and analytics space, mediating between data engineers and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and architect efficient data and analytics solutions.
  • Undertake tailored data analyses to spot trends, identify patterns, and discover insights, crafting visually engaging and effective data visualizations.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gain a comprehensive understanding of their data and reporting needs.
  • Build and maintain data models and dashboards in Tableau.
  • Provide ad-hoc reports and analyses as required.
  • Design and maintain dynamic and informative dashboards for business users.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency in reports and dashboards.
  • Automate reporting processes wherever feasible.
  • Enforce data governance policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience as a BI data analyst, with a strong track record of collaborating with the business.
  • Proficiency with Tableau or equivalent BI tools.
  • Strong SQL skills for data querying, manipulation, and optimization.
  • Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation of data processes.
  • Experience working with large volumes of data and complex data models.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with telecom industry preferred.
