Web App UI/UX Delivery Specialist

Our organization is seeking a skilled Web App UI/UX Delivery Specialist to support the delivery of enhancements and strategic initiatives for our Web App.

This role plays a central part in the successful planning and delivery of enhancements aligned to our broader Disaster Management and Control Centre strategy.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and stakeholders to define and implement innovative solutions.
  • Design wireframes, user flows, mock-ups, and interactive prototypes using industry-standard tools.
  • Build and style reusable UI components using React and associated libraries.
  • Ensure consistency and alignment with brand guidelines and accessibility standards.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to iterate and improve product experience.

Key Competencies:

  • Expertise in design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or InVision for wireframing and visual design.
  • Understanding of component-based frameworks like React; ability to collaborate effectively with developers and speak their language.
  • Responsive design, designing for multiple screen sizes and devices with fluid layouts and scalable components.
  • Interaction design, defining animations, micro-interactions, and behaviour to enhance user experience.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Design, Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Proven ability to design wireframes, prototypes, and user flows that translate business requirements into intuitive user experiences.
  • Experience collaborating within cross-functional teams, including developers, product owners, and stakeholders.
