Job Summary

The Royal Women's Hospital is seeking a skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our team. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive pharmacy services to our clinical areas.

About the Role

As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing medication reconciliation processes and resolving medication-related issues
  • Ensuring appropriate medicine usage through implementation of hospital policy and liaison with medical and nursing staff
  • Participating in training and mentoring programs, including supervision of intern pharmacists and pharmacy students

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced pharmacist who possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be someone who enjoys working as part of a team committed to excellence in patient care.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent plus current and full AHPRA registration without restrictions as a Pharmacist
  • General Pharmacy knowledge and experience relevant to the position
  • Well-developed time management and organisational skills
  • A positive attitude and professional manner in keeping with our philosophy of a strong customer/patient focus
