Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Theatre Technician to join our team. As a Theatre Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our theatre facilities, working closely with medical professionals to deliver high-quality care to our patients.

Your primary responsibility will be to assist with surgical procedures, preparing operating rooms, equipment, and supplies as needed. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control protocols, and handling patient records with confidentiality and accuracy.

In addition to your technical skills, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work effectively with a diverse range of staff members, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Certification: Certificate III in Health Services Assistance (Operating Theatre Support)
  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a theatre setting, preferably in a hospital or healthcare facility
  • Skills: Strong communication and teamwork skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, knowledge of infection control protocols and procedures
