Xref is seeking a skilled Test Automation Specialist to join our team in Sydney CBD. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Java and Selenium.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop automated test scripts using Java and Selenium
  • Develop and execute test cases and test plans
  • Analyze test results, including troubleshooting and problem determination
  • Log issues and confirm resolution
  • Critically review business requirements and functional specifications
  • Provide estimates for test planning and execution
  • Assist in determining whether release criteria have been met
  • Stay up-to-date with test methodologies and utilities
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • Proven experience (5 years) as a QA Engineer or similar role, with a focus on both manual and automated testing
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium and Java
  • Automation using Postman or equivalent
  • Experience with performance testing
  • Proficient in using Jira and Confluence
  • Basic understanding of SQL databases
  • Experience working on Web Application and API testing
  • Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Proactive and takes ownership for the quality of the product
  • Analytical with problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills, both written and verbal
