- Implement care interventions delegated by Registered Nurses, as documented in the resident's care plan.
- Assist residents with their personal care and hygiene needs, promoting their independence and dignity.
- Prioritize workloads effectively, delivering care with compassion, kindness, and respect for residents' individual needs.
- Respect residents' privacy, dignity, choice, and self-esteem, promoting a culture of inclusivity and respect.
- Commit to continuous quality improvement, contributing to the development of our care services.
Requirements:
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards, Aged Care Act, and Quality of Care Principles.
- Reliability to work to a roster with set shifts and basic computer skills.
- Working knowledge of WH&S and infection control.
- Certificate III in Aged Care / Individual Support (or currently working towards).
- Previous work experience within the aged care sector is preferred but not essential.
- Current NDIS clearance, proof of Rights to Work, and a current immunisation certificate (including influenza and vaccination against COVID-19, including booster).
