ICT Project Manager Job

Steadfast Australia, a leading third-party logistics provider based in Adelaide, is seeking an experienced ICT project manager to oversee critical technology projects that support its daily operations and prepare it for a future warehouse management system migration.

The ICT project manager will be responsible for rolling out mobile, paperless picking via barcode scanners on the company's FoxPro-based Translogix Sapphire WMS, rebuilding and enhancing the Poscat customer web portal with API connectivity, and planning the transition from Translogix Sapphire to a new WMS platform over the next 1-2 years.

  • Project Delivery: Define scope, schedule, budget, and resource plans for ICT initiatives, coordinate cross-functional teams, monitor risks, issues, and change requests, and escalate when necessary.
  • Technical Leadership: Lead configuration and deployment of mobile scanning workflows integrated with Translogix Sapphire, architect and develop the Poscat portal using PHP, MySQL (or similar stack), and RESTful APIs, ensure code quality, security controls, and system performance.
  • Systems Transition & Integration: Develop migration strategies, data-conversion templates, and cut-over plans for the new Warehouse Management System (WMS), validate integration points between WMS and billing/transport systems, manage UAT cycles, data reconciliation, and go-live support.
  • Support & Governance: Provide second and third-line support for WMS, portal, and mobile applications, maintain backup, disaster-recovery, and security protocols, create and update SOPs, user guides, and project documentation.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years in ICT project management, preferably within logistics or warehouse systems.
  • Familiarity with FoxPro applications and ideally WMS systems as well as barcode/mobile scanning technology.
  • Proven track record of data migration, system integration, and UAT best practices.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
