As a Health, Safety and Environmental Specialist

The role involves managing risks across diverse industrial and commercial sites.

  • Conduct building and site inspections to identify potential hazards
  • Perform HSE assessments, management systems, and audits to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Manage asbestos and hazardous materials to prevent exposure to staff and the public
  • Handle hazardous chemical and waste management to minimize environmental impact
  • Ensure safety in confined spaces, heights, fire risks, and traffic management to protect employees and clients
  • Assess properties impacted by natural disasters to determine extent of damage and develop recovery plans
  • Monitor air contaminants such as asbestos, dust, chemicals, microbiological hazards, noise, and indoor air quality to maintain a healthy work environment
  • Work closely with clients to manage risks at commercial buildings, industrial sites, and major retail facilities
About the Role
  • Successful candidates will have strong communication skills and a willingness to learn
  • Strong report writing skills and experience in customer service are highly regarded
  • Candidates should be able to work independently and in a team to deliver results, with confidence, curiosity, and adaptability to a reactive environment
  • A current driver's license and access to your own vehicle are required, as well as a valid authority to work in Australia
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel is essential
