Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. This role will involve servicing and maintaining equipment in a timely and professional manner, ensuring optimal performance and longevity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting routine maintenance checks and inspections on equipment.
  • Performing preventive maintenance to identify and address potential issues before they escalate.
  • Troubleshooting and diagnosing technical problems, implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Ensuring all parts are ordered and stocked locally prior to service commencing.
  • Making efficiency and maintenance modification recommendations to continually improve reliability and performance.
  • Documenting all maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and inspections.
  • Maintaining accurate records of service visits, parts used, and time spent on each assignment.
  • Providing on-site training to clients on proper equipment usage and maintenance procedures.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or trade certificate preferred.
  • Minimum of 2+ years' experience in the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and verbal reasoning.
  • Familiarity with related technologies.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
