Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join our team in a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining plant equipment, resolving breakdowns and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a supportive team that values innovation, safety and teamwork. As a Maintenance Fitter, you will perform preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs, identify root causes of equipment failures and support capital projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain plant equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
  • Perform troubleshooting and repair of equipment to minimize downtime
  • Identify and address root causes of equipment failures to prevent recurrence
  • Support capital projects to improve processes and reduce costs
  • Ensure compliance with WHS directives and regulations
Requirements:
  • Experience in manufacturing maintenance with a focus on mechanical and hydraulic systems
  • Strong knowledge of WHS and risk management principles
  • Forklift license and reliable transport
  • Ability to work shifts and flexible hours
  • Experience with MEX or similar CMMS systems
