Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Coding & Casemix Services team. As the successful applicant, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate, comprehensive, and timely clinical coding across our health network.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Health Information Manager to drive success within the team and contribute to maintaining an effective and efficient Coding and Casemix service.

Key Responsibilities

The successful applicant will be responsible for leading the Coding & Casemix Services team, providing strong leadership, planning, prioritising workloads, and ensuring timely and accurate clinical coding across our health network.

Qualifications and Skills

The successful applicant must possess:

  • Bachelor of Health Information Management and/or Master of Health Information Management or equivalent.
  • Strong leadership capability to lead and drive success within the team.
  • Extensive knowledge of Clinical Coding & Casemix.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of clinical coding systems.
  • Skills in interpretation and analysis of clinical data.
  • Solid understanding of statutory reporting requirements.
