Perioperative Nurse

We are seeking skilled nurses with anaesthetic and recovery experience to join our perioperative team. Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional care to patients on their fertility journey.

About the Role

As a Perioperative Nurse, you will work as part of a competent team assisting with:

  • Multiskilling – admissions, scrub and scouting
  • Pre-Operative Assessment/Admission
  • Anaesthesia Administration
  • Intraoperative Monitoring
  • Airway Management
  • Post-Operative Care
  • Patient Education & Support
Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment
  • Working collaboratively with the Perioperative Nursing team, Laboratory Team, and IVF Nursing Team
  • Assisting with pre-operative assessments and admissions
  • Administering anaesthesia and monitoring patients during procedures
  • Providing post-operative care and education to patients
Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor of Nursing Degree or higher (for Registered Nurse)
  • Post graduate certificate in perioperative nursing
  • Current AHPRA Registration
  • At least 2 years of clinical peri-operative nursing experience, with a minimum of 1 year in anaesthetics
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Advanced Life Support (ALS) preferred)
