Role OverviewWe are currently seeking an experienced Conveyor Maintenance Technician to join our Port Operations Mechanical Conveyor Maintenance Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing allocated maintenance tasks as per the daily and weekly plan, following documented maintenance procedures and instructions, operating workshop and mobile equipment, and performing Scraper rebuilds, Conveyor inspections, and executing Shutdown preparations.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong focus on operating discipline in line with BOS practices, good communication and interpersonal skills, ability to recognize patterns in problems and apply robust problem-solving techniques, technical aptitude and/or logical reasoning driving resulting actions or decisions, and a good understanding of quality control and its implications regarding the operation of an automated process.
In return for your expertise, you can expect a competitive salary of around $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus performance-based bonuses and a unique employee share program.
