About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our team at Coles Liquorland. As a Sales Assistant, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our customers have an enjoyable shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, answering their queries, and offering product recommendations.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve sales targets and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card sales, and other payment methods.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge and stay up-to-date with new products and promotions.
  • Contribute to the overall cleanliness and organization of the store, including the sales floor, stockroom, and other areas.

About You

  • You have a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service and a passion for working in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • You are able to work effectively as part of a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • You have a basic understanding of wine, beer, and spirits, and are willing to learn more about our products.
  • You are able to lift moderate to heavy loads (up to 17kg) and stand for long periods of time.
  • You hold a current accredited Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) qualification.
