Job Title: Strategic Intelligence Professional

This critical role plays a vital part in supporting law enforcement investigations through the delivery of crucial intelligence products.

About the Role:
  • Nurture technical expertise by mentoring team members and providing guidance on analytical techniques, report writing, systems knowledge, and professional development.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of how work contributes to broader law enforcement operations and make informed decisions based on operational priorities.
  • Develop effective working knowledge of broader law enforcement technical centers and collections to improve coordination and operational outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain currency in application of various analytical methodologies such as discovery analysis, statistical analysis, anomaly analysis, and trend analysis to address specific investigative requirements or intelligence gaps.
  • Coordinate with additional teams within the unit for knowledge sharing and skills development purposes to leverage strength of other teams and support development of others.
Requirements:
  • Citizenship at time of application.
  • Negative Vetting 1 (Secret) security clearance or ability to obtain one.
  • Completed Electronic Surveillance Analyst Foundations course or able to attain within six months of commencement.
  • Ability to successfully complete annual psychological screening specific to this position.
  • Understanding of and ability to apply behavioral and pattern analysis techniques.
  • Flexibility and dynamic response to changing priorities.
Desirable Skills:
  • Advanced data literacy with large complex data sets.
  • Experience leading projects and contributing to strategic outcomes.
