**Job Description**

We are seeking a skilled IT audit leader to join our team. In this role, you will lead and deliver IT audit projects across various areas, including cybersecurity, governance, operations, and applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead IT audit projects and ensure delivery of high-quality results.
  • Mentor and support a team of IT auditors to grow their skills and performance.
  • Prepare clear and concise audit reports for senior leaders and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the annual internal audit plan and strategic initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of IT audit frameworks, risk management, and controls.
  • 8+ years' experience in IT audit, information security, or related fields, including leadership experience.
  • Tertiary qualifications in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline.
  • Professional certifications such as CISA, CISM, CRISC, CISSP, CIA, or CPA (valued but not essential).
  • Sound knowledge of financial services or Australian regulations (insurance industry experience highly regarded).
