Occupational Therapy Leadership Opportunity

The role of Deputy Manager, Occupational Therapy is pivotal in supporting the Allied Health Manager, Occupational Therapy in leading and managing the Occupational Therapy workforce and services within the Allied Health Directorate at Grampians Health Ballarat.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Resource Allocation: Assist in monitoring and allocating resources for Occupational Therapy across the East campus of Ballarat
  • Workforce Development: Lead, develop, support and mentor the Occupational Therapy workforce at the Ballarat campus to ensure high-quality service provision

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and current AHPRA registration
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in the profession with extensive clinical experience and knowledge of contemporary evidence-based practice
  • Post-graduate qualifications in clinical practice, leadership, management and/or research or working towards same
  • Experience in health sector leadership, management or quality improvement, particularly in a public health service, and in leading an Allied Health service, program(s) or quality projects
  • Current Victorian Drivers Licence
