Job OpportunityWe are seeking a dynamic Head of Health, Safety and Wellbeing to join our People and Culture team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert leadership to build proactive health, safety, and wellbeing practices and culture throughout the organisation.
You will drive and influence all levels of the organisation, contractors, and external stakeholders to realise the benefits of embedding resilient HSW practices in our operations. This is a chance to take ownership of the development, strategy, evolution, and implementation of all health, safety, and wellbeing policies, procedures, and systems.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement the Anglicare Health, Safety and Wellbeing strategy to promote a generative HSW culture.
- Execute achievement by removing roadblocks to innovation and taking accountability for successful outcomes.
- Manage HS & W to meet Anglicare's financial, contractual, and regulatory requirements and targets.
- Measure and evaluate the HS & W performance against best practice and work collaboratively with operational business units to implement improvements.
- Initiate, lead, and develop strong customer-focused partnerships and networks with relevant business units, functional areas, and internal and external stakeholders.
- Communicate the desired future for HSW at Anglicare in a style that includes storytelling and positive influence to gain buy-in and belief from all team members.
- Outstanding relationship management and consulting skills, including the ability to lead consultative processes, engage with senior management, influence, and negotiate at the highest levels.
- Demonstrated success in growing individual and team capability and performance and in driving innovation in planning, processes, systems, and work practices.
- Demonstrated knowledge and skills in HSW change management processes.
- Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
- Exceptional copywriting skills for engagement and performance marketing.
- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety or a relevant discipline.
- Extensive experience in a senior leadership role managing Health, Safety and Wellbeing.
- Experience working in a high-risk or complex industry is preferred.
