About the Role

The Federal Court of Australia is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an APS 4 Judicial Services Officer. This role is responsible for providing exceptional support to the judiciary and the public, both locally and nationally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality services to clients, including the general public, judges, and staff, in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives, and contribute to a positive and inclusive team culture.
  • Develop and maintain a broad range of skills, including organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, to meet the evolving needs of the Court.
  • Communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds, including clients, staff, and the judiciary, and manage stressful and conflict situations in a professional manner.
  • Contribute to and support change in the workplace, including identifying opportunities for process improvement and acquiring a sound working knowledge of court procedures, guidelines, and policies.

  • Be an Australian citizen.
  • Satisfy a Police Records Check and may be required to complete security clearances during the course of your employment.
  • Be subject to a probation period.
