About the Role

The Director, Portfolio Oversight will be responsible for establishing and managing the Portfolio Oversight team, ensuring effective governance, reporting, benefits measurement, and evaluation across the STS reform projects and programs.

The successful candidate will lead the development of a consistent framework for managing and measuring performance, enhancing integration across the portfolio, and providing expert advice to program and project managers.

The Director will also oversee the monitoring and evaluation function, ensuring a consistent approach to evaluating the benefits and outcomes of current initiatives and developing a framework to monitor cross-border trade performance.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Establish and manage the Portfolio Oversight team in the STS Unit.
  2. Develop and implement effective governance, reporting, benefits measurement, and evaluation processes.
  3. Lead the development of a consistent framework for managing and measuring performance.
  4. Provide expert advice to program and project managers.
  5. Oversee the monitoring and evaluation function.
Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in portfolio management and governance.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective governance, reporting, benefits measurement, and evaluation processes.
  • Ability to provide expert advice to program and project managers.
