Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Hospital Cleaning Professional to join our team. As a key member of our cleaning staff, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety within our hospital environment.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness to all areas, including wards and operating theatres
  • Ensuring all equipment utilised on shifts is cleaned, restocked and stored in the appropriate storage areas
  • Working in a friendly and supportive manner at all times
  • Maintaining communication networks with nursing staff and other stakeholders to ensure quality clinical outcomes are achieved

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in cleaning services or housekeeping services
  • Previous experience in a hospital desirable
  • Experience with auto scrubbers and polish machines
  • A passion for providing excellent customer service
  • Ability to work as part of a large team
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of safety, cleanliness and infection control
