Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Environmental Aide to join our team. As an Environmental Aide, you will perform a variety of cleaning functions throughout the hospital and office building.
This role involves performing daily cleaning tasks in various areas of the hospital and office building, operating specialized cleaning equipment, and using proper safety protocols.
You will also work collaboratively with the patient care team to consolidate work, solve problems, and create new cost-saving initiatives.
In addition, you will provide feedback and support to colleagues to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform daily cleaning tasks in various areas of the hospital and office building
- Operate specialized cleaning equipment and use proper safety protocols
- Work collaboratively with the patient care team to consolidate work, solve problems, and create new cost-saving initiatives
- Provide feedback and support to colleagues to ensure a positive and productive work environment
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following hospital policies and procedures
- Ability to understand and follow directions
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift/move objects up to 50 pounds
- Exposure to odors, blood, and other hazardous materials
