
Clinical Support Associate

Job Overview:
As an Orthopaedic Clinical Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing clinical and technical support to orthopaedic surgeons, nurses, and hospital staff.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in a relevant field and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will also be able to thrive in a fast-paced, theatre-based environment and possess excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical and technical support during orthopaedic procedures, primarily in hip and knee replacement.
- Build strong, trusted relationships with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Deliver ongoing training and education to hospital staff on the effective use of medical products.
- Collaborate with the sales team to support territory objectives and case planning.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product offerings and clinical techniques.
- Ensure exceptional service and support to both public and private hospitals across the Northern Territory.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A tertiary qualification in a relevant field (e.g. nursing, physiotherapy, science, biomedical engineering).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, theatre-based environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Previous experience in a clinical or healthcare setting is advantageous.
- A current driver's license and flexibility to travel as required.
